  Fabulous service and great homemade tasting food. My husband and I always get the bacon cheeseburger with a root beer float. Great place to try out yourself! You can't go wrong with a burger and a big frost mug of the famous root beer!

  Nostalgia is the word that comes to mind, when I think of the Edgerton A&W Family Restaurant. It's a great place to take the kids to experience being served by a car-hop waitress, just like in the 1950's and 60's and also a fun place for the adults as well!  There is seating inside the restaurant and an old juke box that can be played by making a selection from the chart of limitless songs displayed with no quarters needed to play. It's free for the picking of a song!  In the corner there is a child size table and chairs  with a built-in lego board for the kids to play on. It's the first place my granddaughter runs to when we arrive. The food is outstandingly delicious and typical of the well known A&W Root Beer stands of yesteryear. The root beers are ice cold and served in a frosty mug. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your dining needs, always ready to serve you or bring a free refill of root beer. The restaurant is immaculate, the floors are shiny clean and the staff is constantly wiping off tables preparing for the next customer.  When you are finished eating and leaving the building, a dinner bell is hanging by the door, which you can ring as you walk past if you enjoyed your food and service.  When the bell gets rung the staff hollers out loud "Thank You" as you are leaving. Needless to say this is one of my favorite places, always casual and friendly!

  The food was decent, and the staff friendly, but the service was slow. If you have 20 minutes to wait, a good choice, else go somewhere else.
